Yossi Alcalay is born and raised in Israel in the city of Haifa, a city between Mount Carmel and the Mediterranean Sea, on the southern border of the Galilee. There he learned about the meaning of coexistence between Jews, Christians, and Muslims.
After serving in the Israeli army, Yossi studied architecture for eight years at the University of Delft-Holland. There, in addition to learning the architectural profession, he got to know the Dutch language and culture.
As a licensed tour guide, Yossi strives to combine his broad knowledge with his love for the landscape of Israel, the history of cultures and religions, and as an added value, his professional architectural knowledge in this fascinating country.
